2. Eight Service Sectors See Double-Digit Growth in June

Wholesale trade quickened to 15.1per cent from 3.7 per cent in May and administrative and support services to14.4percent from 5 percent, while retail trade picked up to 18 per cent from 13.3 per cent. The sharpest loss of momentum came in accommodation and food, the fast-growing segment in May, where growth slowed to 10.2 per cent from 27.4 per cent. Telecommunications eased to 9.5 per cent from 11.8 per cent, slipping below double digits, while banking edged down to 11.4 per cent from 12.1 percent.”
